Don’t Believe The Hype

The rumor market is booming, and it’s getting crazy.  This isn’t news, don’t believe everything you read.  This summer was an explosion of rumors from all over the world.  It’s obvious that big teams are going to have interest in good players.  It seemed every day of the transfer market Bleacher Report had posted big teams interest in players.  It’s very easy to fabricate an interest in Marco Reus from Real Madrid for example, surely there is one.  He’s a young talented player and Real Madrid has the deepest pockets for transfers.  But don’t always believe every transfer rumor you read because it can be heart breaking.

Take Manchester United for example, the Red Devils were rumored to get almost everyone!  They were waiting to get Sergio Ramos, Nicolas Otamendi, Gareth Bale, Thomas Muller, Edinson Cavani, Cristiano Ronaldo and more.  Every team is going to have an interest in talent!  It’s obvious, but these are fabricated rumors.  It’s easy, just wait a little bit before getting excited for a move.  Building up hope is a route to shattered dreams.

Next time your phone explodes with trade rumors in any sport, just think about it before getting a jersey.  Wait until it makes a little bit more sense.  Then go boast and talk trash!
